The Woman’s final featured a star studded cast of inspiring female surfers from across the North Island of NZ including Jessica Santorik (Rag), Gabriella Sansom (Auck) and Indica Ratima (Rag) who all joined Ella for a splash of bubbles during the prize giving.

“This is the best result I could have hoped for today, I am so stoked” said Williams. “It was fun all day, nice and glassy, a little onshore this afternoon but the faces were so clean” she added of the conditions.

The Rip Curl Pro is the richest surfing event held in New Zealand offering up over $12,000 in cash prizes including $3,000 for both the men’s and women’s divisions.
